Our beloved Mother

The Mary Oluwatoyin Feyisara Akinshilo (MOFA) Foundation was established as a tribute to the life and love of Mrs Akinshilo, a remarkable woman who devoted her life to nurturing and caring for others.

Known for her boundless compassion and generosity, she touched countless lives, always looking for ways to help, uplift, and support those around her. The foundation was created by her children to continue the legacy of kindness she left behind and to ensure that her spirit of care lives on in the community.

Our Drive

Inspiration for the foundation

The inspiration for the foundation came from MOFA's lifelong dedication to helping others, whether through simple acts of kindness, supporting people through difficult times, or encouraging growth and confidence in everyone she encountered.

Her life was an example of selfless service, and those who knew her were deeply moved by her generosity and warmth. Following her passing, it became clear that the best way to honour her memory would be to create a lasting institution that would reflect her values and continue her good works.

Our Journey

The Journey so far

Since its founding, the MOFA Foundation has grown steadily, reaching out to support causes that Oluwatoyin cared deeply about. The foundation has launched programs focused on education and general healthcare. Through these programs, the foundation has been able to provide several scholarships and healthcare assistance, positively impacting numerous lives

Each project and initiative is designed to mirror MOFA's nurturing spirit, aiming not only to provide immediate support but also to empower individuals to thrive. In this way, the foundation has not only honoured her memory but has become a beacon of the same compassion she shared so freely. The foundation continues to grow, expanding its reach and working closely with communities to identify and meet their needs
